Max Blagg's most recent publication from Weed Mines Press is a fragmental journey through one month, May, "spring of 2011, some things falling apart /the centerfold not holding" to quote from the original text, in which Blagg attempted to set down 1000 words per day, from the first day of May until the last, and was frequently unsuccessful in reaching that target.
When Nick Rule suggested Weed Mines would like to publish a slim volume, Blagg decided to excavate that manuscript and create an abbreviated version entitled Mayday.
Maggie Dubris, Mike DeCapite and Lucy Sante also agreed to participate in this Series Twenty-Three production, and all four slender volumes are now almost ready for launch.
